I heard this song the other day and KNEW that it was exactly what Lilies of the Field is all about. Wouldn't it be great if we could incorporate it somehow?
Even better - Wouldn't it be great if Sara Groves was willing to come sing as a fundraiser for our group?

What a great idea! Maybe Brooke can contact her soon since she just met her and talked for a bit. Maybe she'll remember Brooke and be willing to work with her and you on Lilies fundraising. Does she have any concerts scheduled in KC in the next 3-6months? Maybe you could work around another concert she has already...a small little gathering somewhere with a handful of people who would be willing to be on the board and support Lilies and they could be invited to the mini "concert"? Hmmmmm.....

you can actually look that up online, but i will take care of it today and see if she is taking offers for concerts or not. this is not going to be too hard. i press that you try and attend her concert on sunday in springfield, missouri. ride down with mrs. chugg, makenzie and laura finn. you would get a chance to talk with her, and press your issue. she would hear you, i promise. but i don't know if she could commit. even if you could not get sara groves, the whole idea is fantastic. i would start working on a fundraiser - it would have to be huge and it would take a lot of planning and time but i think the benefits could be huge. oh dear. why are our sisters so creative? sometimes it scares me....
